RESINC Solar founder, Leigh Storr, has redefined the solar industry with a social-enterprise model that puts customers and communities at the centre. With more than 20 years in renewable energy, he has built two award-winning solar companies, installed over 20,000 systems, and helped 150,000 homes and businesses transition to green energy. After working with large-scale energy retailers, Leigh saw the environmental and economic potential of a customer-centric, bottom-up approach to renewable energy. RESINC Solar was created to do solar differently, built on a service-first, not product-first, philosophy. He recognised that the industry’s sales-driven mindset was failing the very people it was meant to serve and set out to create a solar company grounded in long-term relationships and genuine community support.
