In my five years at Smart Choice, I have subtly been shifting our brand voice and with it brand perceptions. For many years, Smart Choice struggled to hit its goal of 1,000 agencies signed each year. Since joining, we have broken records every quarter and every year with us signing 1100, then 1200, then 1300 and last year 1550. Why? Our message is now differentiated from the competition, our voice of the customer program demonstrates community acceptance, and our advertising is fresh, innovative and compels action.
