High property prices, rising interest rates and increased cost of living have fuelled a housing crisis and increased homelessness in Australia. As of 2022, 640,000 Australians have unmet housing needs, and this figure is projected to rise to 940,000 by 2041.

Teeny Tiny Homes is a family-owned business offering a practical solution to this pressing social issue. Based in Caboolture QLD, they build and deliver custom-made tiny homes and transportable buildings across the country, making buying a home accessible and affordable to diverse socioeconomic backgrounds without compromising on quality or style.

Despite regulatory barriers to using tiny houses as permanent homes, Teeny Tiny Homes has accomplished extraordinary results, through innovative construction and high-quality craftsmanship. As members of the Australian Tiny House Association, they actively advocate for increased acceptance of tiny homes, paving the way for broader societal change.

From construction to delivery, Teeny Tiny Homes manages the entire production process. Each structure is solidly made to cyclone rating (as required), including steel frames, skid base engineering and fabrication, Australian Colourbond steel roofing and exterior wall sheeting. Each build comes with a 5-year structural warranty. Quality control measures guarantee that each structure meets the highest standards, including adhering to Australian Building Code and Standards, with all plumbing, electrical and waterproofing work completed by QBCC Certified Trade Contractors.

Teeny Tiny Homes operate with the local environment and economy in mind, integrating energy-efficient electrical systems, lighting and solar power into their structures – setting the standard for eco-friendly features in newly built homes – and choosing local suppliers and tradespeople to drive local job creation, build strong community ties, and support sustainable economic growth.
They also make homeownership accessible by providing all forms and certifications for Council Approvals & Permits and can assist in relocation and connection services.
By offering viable alternatives to traditional housing, Teeny Tiny Homes is not only solving a real housing crisis, they are helping the local community embrace a lifestyle that's rich in purpose and fulfilment and promotes sustainability and financial freedom. They are creating significant societal change one tiny home at a time.
